Host Town Friendship Programme with the Czech Republic

Kochi prefecture is registered as the host town for the Czech Republic. We will host their Pre-Games training camps for “Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020” in 2021 in the prefecture.

In order to familiarise people with the Czech Republic, we are holding a commemorative exhibition to gather momentum towards Tokyo 2020 Games and create long-lasting exchange programmes and relationships with the Czech Republic as the Olympic legacy after the Games. The event will celebrate the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations and economic and cultural exchanges between the Czech Republic and Japan, with the cooperation of the Czech Olympic Committee and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tokyo.

Place: On the 1st Floor, OTEPIA Kochi Library

During the exhibition, we will invite Ms Suzanka Hanibalova, Czech, who will give a lecture on her hometown. The details are as follows.
